A Simple Skincare Routine could Benefit You

Over the years I am accumulating so many products that I feel like I need to include a lot more steps in my skincare routine. It wasn’t just a waste time and money, it also made my skin worse. No matter how many products or methods I tried, I could not make permanent changes to my skin. The blemishes returned – just as always.

It’s easy to become overwhelmed by the many products, trends, and techniques that claim to address different skin issues and reduce fine lines and clogged pores. Sometimes, we forget to remember that healthy and happy skin is the main thing.

What Does Holistic Skincare Look Like?
It was easy for me to keep it simple. I chose to concentrate on four areas of my life that needed improvement: fitness and nutrition, mind, and skincare. Because each person is different, it can be difficult to identify acne-prone skin. It can be difficult to identify what causes our flare-ups. It can be very helpful to take a closer look at our lifestyles and try out new strategies. This is how System Akvile’s holistic skin care philosophy was born.

Holistic skincare refers to the practice and idea of holistic healing. It treats the whole person, not just one part. Holistic skincare is based on the principle that the whole body is made up of all its parts. If you ignore the parts, the whole doesn’t function properly.

This way of living is unique because you see everything in its entirety. It’s not enough to look at your acne-prone skin and assume it’s only physical. You need to look at all aspects of your life. Your triggers for blemishes may be emotional or physical.

To make our skin more healthy, we must make ourselves better as a whole, including the mind, body and skin.

How do we start a holistic skincare routine?
Keep it simple. Simpler your skincare routine will make it easier to follow. Your skincare routine should be a daily habit.

It was crazy to think that I used up to 10 steps in my skincare routine at one time. I was so obsessed with the latest trends and their quick-fix promises, my skincare routine quickly became complicated and totally unnecessary.

It is now a simple 4-step process that I can follow. This is where the System Akvile 4-step cleanse-exfoliate-target-moisturize products and mantra came from.

It is important to understand the ingredients in your products and which ones work well together. This is a key part of creating a skincare routine that works.

Understanding Skincare Products
Sometimes it can be difficult to determine what our skin is getting from the products we use. Are There Any Other Ingredients?

It is common to believe that natural products are safer for skin. It doesn’t matter if a substance has been made synthetically or natural. This does not affect its safety or efficacy. Every ingredient should be viewed with critical eyes.

A common problem is the use of the term “chemical” with negative connotations. All things are made up of chemicals, whether synthetic or natural. This is not a good or a bad thing. Don’t judge complex chemical-looking ingredients in products too quickly!

These are just a few of the steps you can take to make an informed decision about your skincare products.

Research the possible effects of the ingredients on the products. There’s a possibility that the product may not be suitable for your skin or your health if it isn’t on the official list. It is important to keep your facts straight. Don’t let empty promises or trends fool you.

Sometimes it can be difficult to know where to begin your research on this topic. Let’s share some tips with you to help you get started.

What Products Should You Use and What You Should Avoid
Sensitizing skin and other adverse reactions are common with certain fragrances found in skincare products, especially those with sensitive skin. This is a shocking fact.

These fragrances can have a negative effect on people with blemishes, so you can see the effects on those with acne-prone skin.

System Akvile cares about your skin’s wellbeing and takes the science behind our products very seriously. We avoid all fragrances (where possible) and we will not use any that are on the official allergy list.

Use Acidic Products

Our skin’s pH levels are a combination of acid and alkaline. They range from 1 to 14. Any number lower than 7 is acidic. A number greater than 7 is alkaline. These levels are essential for the body to function well. However, the skin is slightly acidic at 4 to 6. This is called the “acid mantle”. This environment has many benefits, including the ability to support skin cell growth and function. For acne-prone skin, which requires as much regeneration as possible, skin cell growth is a great option.

Avoid large amounts ofalcohol.

Alcohol-based products are common for acne-prone skin. Many people believe that alcohol-based products can reduce oily skin. It is false. Alcohol-based products can lead to increased oil production, which can cause more oily skin. System Akvile does not use alcohol in its products.
