The scientific method to determine your face shape

Our friends at Cosmo have a brilliant way of describing the scientific method for determining your face shape. Take four measurements with a soft measuring tape (NOT the metal type):

Forehead width: Measurement from your forehead’s widest point to the hairline, hairline to hairline.

Cheekbone width: Measure the distance across your face from your hairline to your cheekbones and back.

Jawline width – From under your ears, measure the distance from the edge of the jaw to the middle of the chin. This is multiplied by 2.

Face length – Measure from the middle of your hairline to the tip of your chin.

These will give you a solid reference point to help you find your perfect face shape.
