Some people, particularly lactose intolerant, may not find curd suitable. It can trigger allergic reactions. Before applying it to the scalp, you should always conduct a patch test. It is better to use fresh curd than older curd.
Dr. Kapoor stated, “Another side effect is that it can make your scalp oily and greasy if not washed correctly.” It can also leave behind a strong odor, making it embarrassing.
These are some highly effective curd-hair mask recipes.
Fenugreek, curd hair mask
This mask can be used to strengthen hair roots and improve hair growth.
Mix 2 tablespoons of curd with fenugreek seed overnight.
* Massage the scalp for 15 minutes.
Use a mild shampoo to wash off.
Coconut oil and curd hair mask
This hair mask combines coconut oil with curd and is great for moisturizing hair.
Mix 1 tablespoon of coconut oil with some honey.
After the curd cools, you can add more fresh curd to your scalp.
* Combine well and apply to scalp, hair roots, tips, and back.
Allow it to dry for at least 30 minutes, then wash as usual.
Olive oil and curd
