A 4-Step Skincare Regimen That Will Keep Your Skin Healthy and Young.

Your skin could take care of itself in an ideal world. It wouldn’t be necessary to moisturize. Your skin’s natural sebum would provide all-day moisturizing, while oxygen from the atmosphere would replenish collagen and lipids. Unfortunately, modern living is too harsh for your skin.

Your skin is exposed to chemicals, pollutants, and harsh elements daily. The unholy trio of skin-damaging chemicals can overwhelm your skin’s natural defenses. Your skin may show signs of premature aging if you don’t intervene. You can repair and buffer damaged skin with a quick and simple skincare routine.

You might already have a routine for your skin. If you are curious about how yours compares to ours or want a solid base from which to begin, keep reading. This quick and straightforward four-step routine will repair, nourish, and protect your skin from environmental damage all day. Let us know your thoughts, and give it a shot!

Step 1. Cleanse

Cleansing is the first step in any skincare regimen. Without removing the impurities and dirt that built up over the day, any protection formulas won’t work. I am referring to pollutants, dust, and other harmful particles that float in the air and settle on surfaces of objects you touch, wear and sit on.

Remember to use sebum! Your skin’s health and the number of irritants you are exposed to can affect how much you produce. If you have too many, your skin might feel oily or enlarged. The right cleanser will help remove excess sebum without stripping it away completely. This restores a natural balance.

Consider cleansing the preparation stage for your skincare routine. Washing your skin with a cleanser will remove any impurities and barrier between your skin & the air. The cleanser removes all contaminants blocking your skin’s ability to absorb the product.

All-natural ingredients are gentle on your skin and make the best cleanser. For example, harsh chemicals can cause reactions or dry out your skin, making it redder and more sensitive. Our Gentle Cleaning Foam combines calendula, rosewater, and camomile to remove impurities and protect your skin’s natural pH. This leaves your skin clean and ready for Step 2.

Step 2. Tone

Toning or not toning? That’s the question. Toning is the most confusing aspect of any skincare regimen. Is it to cleanse, moisturize, or both? Toning is not necessary for healthy skin. However, it can help if you have skin problems or have worn heavy makeup.

Toners are astringent. They tighten and cleanse the skin. Toners will pick up what your cleanser left out. Many toners contain moisturizing humectants and exfoliative ingredients that prime your skin to receive a layer of moisturizer.

To tone or not, it is entirely up to you. However, if unsure, I recommend using a gentle cleanser to complement your cleaner. Although a gentle toner won’t have a dramatic effect (unless you already have oily or combination skin), it will maximize the benefits of the other steps in this routine, creating a better overall result.

Your toner should be gentle on the skin, just like cleansers. Toner can be used when your skin does not require a deep clean. Our Balancing toner contains rosewater, cloudberry, and Hyaluronic Acid. This three-in-1 formula soothes, cleanses, moisturizes, and is gentle enough to be used often.

Step 3. Moisturize

This is the one thing I would recommend if you only had to do one step in this routine. What about all the advice I gave earlier on cleansing? You can do without a cleanser using warm water and some vigorous rub (not recommended). Still, your skin requires a moisturizer to protect it from environmental pollutants, retain vital nutrients and restore its elasticity.

Your skin loses moisture due to the environment. Your skin loses water from morning to night. Every shower, wash, and cold or hot air blast dehydrates the upper tissues, making them thirsty and parched. If you let this go unchecked, you could risk dryness, flakiness, or bleeding. ).

We rarely live in temperate climates all year. Or to live in rural areas with plenty of fresh water, clean air, and healthy food. Instead, we live in cities and expose our skin to nasties. In these situations, a moisturizer is your skin’s best friend.

Our Skin Protection Day Cream is recommended. It’s a lightweight, non-greasy moisturizer that contains ceramides, Vitamin C, and other natural defenses to help promote a healthier, younger complexion. It’s all-natural and absorbs quickly to protect your skin all day. Your skin will be smooth, radiant, and beautiful.

Step 4. Protect

Step 3 might be the end of your skincare routine. Step 3 might be the end of your skincare routine. Because Steps 1-3 are for healthy skin with minimal signs of irritation, premature aging, or dullness, I also include Step 4. Step 4 is an additional line of defense against these problems.

What does “protection” for skin mean? Is the moisturizer supposed to “protect”? It does. In most cases, it is more than enough. Suppose you have dry, aged skin or live in a harsh environment. Steps 1 through 3 protect everyday use, but your skincare regimen must be more challenging when things get complicated. That’s where serums are helpful.

Perhaps you have tried a serum before. A serum is a concentrated, cream-like suspension of nutrients, moisturizers, and other ingredients. It can be used as “skin care” or to treat problem skin.

The serum is a supplement to your cleanser. It provides nourishment and moisture. For example, our Skin ProtectingAnti-Pollution Serum is rich in flavonoids and phenolic acids and can reverse free-radical injury and prevent premature aging. This is skin food that should be in your bathroom cabinet.

There are a lot of online resources that will tell you which routine is best. We recommend that you ignore all the noise and focus on what you are trying to achieve. There is no magic formula for keeping your skin healthy and looking beautiful. This routine is a good start.
